HSB ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE (ACC)
STANDARDS and REQUIREMENTS
Horseshoe Bay Architectural Standards
The ACC’s duty is to provide for maintenance of high standards of architecture and construction in the Horseshoe Bay (HSB) community. Its purpose is to enhance the aesthetic properties and structural soundness of HSB subdivisions in order to protect the value of homes within the community.
To that end, Applehead Island Declaration of Reservations delineates specific standards and conditions for certain matters in this regard, including new home construction, renovations, pools, property and landscaping improvement, tree removal, docks, structural type boat covers, as well as many others.
Depending on the nature of the work contemplated, City permitting may be required (see https://www.horseshoe-bay-tx.gov ). AIPOA Construction Performance Bonds may also apply (click here).
Application Requirements
A Submittal Request Form is required to be filed with and approved by the ACC for any new construction, renovation, or cosmetic changes to existing properties (including landscaping) that are visible from any side of the property PRIOR to commencement of any work.
